Grand Jury Information
If you have been selected for Grand Jury for the term beginning on September 12, 2023, please note the following reporting times:
Currently for the 3rd week:
Wednesday, September 27th - 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM - note the new start time and the highlighted note below.
**Due to scheduling needs, there will not be a lunch break so please bring snacks or drinks. The latest end time will be 2PM for this day.**
Thursday, September 28th - 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM
**Please remember to check this daily after 5:00 PM for any changes. Last minute changes do happen and phone calls will be made if necessary.**
The reporting days for the Term are usually on Tuesday and Thursday. The exceptions this Term are Monday, September 18th, Wednesday the 27th and Wednesday, October 4th. The following dates of September 12, 14, 18, 19, 27, 28 and October 3 and 4 are the reporting days for this Term.

Please note the following:
Grand Jury is held on the 4th Floor of the George Harvey Justice Building located at 45 Hawley Street in Binghamton.
Grand Jury reporting days can be any day of the week and are usually no more than 3 days during a particular week.
If you need to call in an absence, have an emergency that prevents you from reporting or are running late, please contact the DA’s office at (607) 778-2425 as soon as possible on the day of reporting.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow for time to go through security upon entering the building.
Parking is available and encouraged at metered parking around our building. There is a phone app called “Flowbird” that will allow you to pay online and add time as needed for the day.
Lunch is a one hour break approximately from 12 PM to 1 PM. There are several restaurants within walking distance if you choose. Jurors are welcome to remain in the Grand Jury Suite during their lunch break.If you have any additional questions, please contact the District Attorney's office at (607) 778-2425.
